Dr. Martin’s work centers on helping institutions identify and close structural gaps that limit growth and innovation. His approach integrates organizational assessment, strategic planning, and leadership coaching to help leaders make data-informed decisions that create lasting impact. He has worked with universities, foundations, and community organizations to design systems that improve accountability, measure outcomes, and enhance performance.
Previously, Dr. Martin served as Assistant Vice Provost at Carnegie Mellon University and held senior leadership roles at Valparaiso University, where he led university-wide initiatives to improve organizational alignment, academic engagement, and faculty development. His experience also includes years of service in ministry and faith-based leadership, where he focused on community building and leadership development within diverse congregations and networks.
Dr. Martin holds a Ph.D. in Leadership for the Advancement of Learning and Service from Cardinal Stritch University, a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Abilene Christian University. He continues to work with higher education institutions, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations to strengthen their leadership systems, evaluate impact, and build sustainable models of organizational growth.
